The Coloplast 11041 70mm SenSura Standard Wear Convex Light Base Plate (One-Piece) is an ideal solution for managing difficult stomas, including those that are retracted, flush, or located in skin folds. With its double-layer adhesive, this base plate ensures a secure seal between the adhesive and the stoma, offering optimal protection to the skin from effluent. The adhesive system includes two layers: a protection layer that shields the skin from stoma output and a skin care layer that absorbs excess moisture to maintain skin health.
This one-piece base plate is designed for stomas ranging from 15mm to 53mm and features a "cut-to-fit" opening for a customizable fit. Its oval-shaped, convex light design applies gentle pressure on the peristomal skin, helping to support a stoma that is difficult to manage and reducing the risk of leakage by allowing the stoma to protrude.
The SenSura Click system, a mechanical coupling, ensures that the pouch is securely attached to the barrier with an audible "click" for peace of mind. The pouch can be rotated into the desired position without needing to remove it, accommodating your body's movements (standing, lying down, etc.) or when emptying. Additionally, the pouch can be changed more frequently than the adhesive barrier, enhancing convenience.
